My name is Jon. I have over 25 years of experience in business, in a range of roles within different industries and sectors. I have held senior positions across travel and tourism, sales and marketing, residential and commercial property agency, hospitality and retail. I have worked for family businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s), and global FTSE-listed corporate companies. I have extensive knowledge on how to communicate successfully and also know how to achieve results in a professional environment. In many of my roles, I have interviewed and recruited staff. I have also been responsible for their training and ongoing development.
In February 2025, I completed a 120-hour Premier TEFL course through The TEFL Org. This qualification allows me to Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). It also lets me Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I have signed up to a further 30-hour course, specifically on teaching business English to ESL students.
I am a native English speaker, and I also speak French. Additionally, I know some very basic Spanish, German, and Swedish (thanks to DuoLingo). I am a lover of languages!
